Positive: The facilities were great, very clean and modern. Location was perfect too. The village of Crambe was delightful. It was very peaceful but only 10 minutes to castle Howard and 30 minutes to York.
Negative: If I’m being overly critical, the room sizes were quite small but we managed. Also, the television was tiny. We were there for the TV but it would’ve been nice to have a bigger TV for the evenings.
Summary: A modern, yet cosy little cottage in a very peaceful village. Conveniently located and surrounded by history.

Positive: Well, where to begin. The location was a beautiful setting, far enough away from the city to find peace and quiet, while being only a few minutes away from all the history. The cottage was super clean, with all modern facilities, while the consteuction and fabric of the cottage, was totally in keeping with the surrounds. Fully equipped and comfort was immediately noted with generous parking on the door step. The Host was both friendly and respectful, and this added to the short break enjoyment. This is a hidden Gem and we can not thank our lucky stars. 100% perfect in everyway.
